    • The Qingming Festival is fast approaching. In Chinese culture, Qingming is the time for spring outings and ancestor worship, highlighted by the sweeping and cleaning of family tombs.

Students from Yew Wah International School of Rizhao learned about the 24 key solar terms in their Chinese Studies lesson. YWIS students participated in Qingming festivities while learning more about the customs.

Lower Primary students made three-dimensional posters of chrysanthemums with coloured paper, adding atmosphere for the festival.

Upper Primary students made kites, offering a clue to upcoming activities for the coming spring break trip.

Let's take a look at their work.
