    • The graduation ceremony of Yew Wah International School of Rizhao was held on June 24 and 25, 2020. The ceremony this year was very special because many of our students were unable to return to school due to border policies during the epidemic, and we were very sorry that we could not invite parents to school to attend the ceremony. Therefore, the school prepared a graduation ceremony both online and offline.

On the day of the ECE Graduation Ceremony, children dressed in formal costumes and sat in front of the camera. With joyful music playing, we reviewed the photos of interesting theme activities ECE students went through during the year, and the photos of their new friends from this year.

Via the live video, the children and students in the foreign countries completed a wonderful dance performance together.

K4 students received graduation sashes and certificates from Ms Lua Yagonagi, Western Campus Co-ordinator, and given good wishes. They knew that when the next time they walk into the campus, they will be proud Year 1 students.

The graduation ceremony for the Primary Section began with a long video consisting of photos and videos of students' timelines from admission to graduation. When they saw themselves in the video, they were either shy about their awkward looks or amused by themselves. The photos recorded their anxiety when they first entered the school, the projects they made with their partners, and the awards and honours they earned for every effort they made.

The Upper Primary students presented a music video of a Chinese song and an English song they recorded by themselves, through online and offline co-operation. The Lower Primary students presented a dance performance for the graduates. Thanks to the Lower Primary students.

The graduation ceremony of Primary is an important moment for the graduates. They nervously stepped on stage or faced the cameras, delivering the commencement speeches they have prepared by themselves. The scenario of them first coming to school were still vivid in our mind. After the graduation from YWIS Rizhao, they will step on a wider stage and accept more challenges. We wish them all a bright future!
