    2019 Graduation Ceremony

    • The graduation ceremony of Yew Wah International School of Rizhao for the 2018-2019 academic year was held on June 26, 2019. This year, we met many new friends and said goodbye to some old friends. K4 students need to say goodbye to ECE and get ready for their new journey in Year 1 next academic year; Year 6 students from primary are going to bid farewell to Rizhao campus and get set for their Secondary study at Yew Chung International School of Qingdao.

      At the graduation ceremony of ECE, the children sang "Say Hello to the Children of the World", "You Are My Sunshine", "Embrace the World", "Time Flies" and "Sing for the Earth". Mr Andrew Watt, the Vice-Principal, gave the students his best wishes, presented them with certificates of merit and put on sash for the graduating class. They were proud that they were going to be primary students.

      At the Primary Graduation Ceremony, the Lower Primary students performed a chorus of "It's a Beautiful Day", "Rainbow of Promise" and performed a violin ensemble "Allegro". The Upper Primary students sang "Goodbye" and "Forever Young" and performed "Canon" with a violin ensemble.

      Students from Year 6 presented graduation speeches, shared their experience and feelings of their studying in YWIS Rizhao, and sent their best wishes to the students who were entering Year 6 next academic year.
