    Chinese New Year Concert

    • February 1, 2019 was the last day of school before the Spring Festival break at YWIS Rizhao. It was also the day of the Chinese New Year concert.

      At the beginning of the concert, the New Year greeting videos recorded by each family delivered best wishes to all the audience.

      The Chinese New Year concert begun with the drum set performance of "Good Days" .

      The Chinese New Year concert is not only an activity for all the students, teachers, and parents to get together and celebrate the Chinese New Year, but also a stage for all the children to show their talents. Chorus, dance, magic show, piano performance, guitar accompaniment, and so on, the students put forward a variety of talent shows to bring parents an audio-visual feast.

      At the end of the concert, all the students sang "Auld Lang Syne" in Chinese, English and Korean. YWIS Rizhao is committed to enabling children to learn and respect different cultures in a multi-national and multi-cultural environment. Children from different countries communicate knowledge and culture in class in Chinese, English or their mother tongue. The tune, sung in different languages, was a harmonious blend of diverse cultures.
