    After-School Activities Start this Week

    • As per the routine of YWIS Rizhao, the after-school activities which last for eight weeks each semester started officially on September 26, 2018.


      This semester, we have prepared a variety of options for students to develop more interests, including art club, calligraphy and paper mache. Students can choose to join a club according to their interest:


      Art Club: Offering curriculum-based activities that support the creative development of children through a variety of artistic experiences that include the use of textiles, printmaking, painting and drawing.


      Chinese Calligraphy: During the long history of development, Chinese characters have evolved into many different script forms, such as the seal character, official script, regular script and running script. Learning the official script lets the students to experience the beauty of Chinese characters.


      Paper Mache: One branch of creative arts using mashed paper or newspapers or pulped paper and bound with an adhesive such as glue paste. The artist creates so many different kinds of arts using the mixtures. The journey involves students’ own design 2D or 3D, creative mind and fun for being an amateur artist.
