How do you nurture a plant? The Upper Primary students showed us how they nurture plants by demonstrating the process of a seed in soil growing into a bunch of green leaves.

You need to water it, so it won’t be dry; change flowerpot, so its root could grow deep; check insects, so the leaves won’t be bitten. And maybe sing a song for it. Then extirpate weed for it, so it gets more soil nutrient; trim it, so it grows in better shape.

The Lower Primary performed poetry and songs about how they nurture someone or get nurtured.

Four students received awards for demonstrating behaviour and practising good qualities of “nurturing” during school in January. Through the theme, all students learnt to care for others, and appreciate the nurturing from parents and teachers.
