Music study is an important part of the curriculum of Yew Wah International School of Rizhao. This school year, we welcome our new violin teacher who is a violin professor from the Music College of Qu Fu Normal University. He is an experienced violin teacher and has already developed a good rapport with the students.

The violin programme at YWIS Rizhao is designed to help students master the instrument, gain a basic understanding of music theory and develop their interest in performing. The study of violin aids intellectual development through strengthening students’ concentration and perseverance and improving cognitive language. In addition, it helps them form good learning habits and self-confidence when playing the violin in front of an audience.

YWIS students will have the opportunity to demonstrate their violin skills at our assemblies or special concerts. Performing allows students to showcase their talents and skills and for parents to observe their child/children’s achievements and progress.
