    • Easter is the Christian commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus and is a religious holiday. Easter is observed on the Sunday following the first full moon after the first day of spring on March 21. The symbols from ancient times of the egg and the bunny, represent fertility and new life at Easter.

To celebrate Easter, the YWIS Rizhao Lower Primary students participated in an Easter egg hunt. Firstly, they made their own Easter eggs by hard-boiling the eggs and then dyed them in various colours. Then the teachers hid the Easter eggs in the classroom. Finally, it was Easter egg hunt time and the excited students ran around their room like little Easter bunnies looking for eggs. The students discovered that Easter egg hunts are not only fun but also challenging!

Lower Primary students also adapted a spring song to an Easter egg song. Have a Happy Easter Day and we hope that you too will find an EASTER EGG!
