    • Punctuality means doing something at the proper time and never being late for an appointment. By being punctual you respect others and gain others’ trust. Punctuality is so important that Yew Wah International School of Rizhao chose it as their October Character Trait.

At the Character Trait Assembly on October 28, 2016, the Lower Primary students performed a puppet show and a “punctuality song.” They had a lot of fun and it strengthened their understanding of punctuality. We were also delighted to see a rock song performance of “What’s the Time? Mr Wolf” by Upper Primary students. The message in the song was that in the forest if you are not punctual, Mr Wolf probably would eat you! In addition, we also had a special guest who arrived late for the assembly. He was the Monkey King who visited YWIS early October. Some students asked “why are you late?” and others focused on questions about what he liked to eat.

Finally we would like to share some ideas about punctuality by Upper Primary students.
