Materials
Dye Powder | Rubber gloves |
Soda ash | Plastic bag |
White cotton cloth | Squeeze bottle |
Water | Rubber band |
Spoon | Rectangular container |
1 | Soak Soak the cotton cloth into the (soda ash) water for several minutes. |
2 | Tie Select the centre of the cloth and twist the cloth, use the rubber bands to secure your spiral and divides to several parts. |
3 | Make colour Add the dye powder into the water and mix. Shake! Shake! Shake! |
4 | Dye Choose a piece for each colour. |
5 | Stand Put your tie-dyed cloth into a plastic bag and let it stand for eight hours. |
6 | Wash and dry Wash and rinse out as much dye out of your tie-dyed cloth with the cool water, and then air it in the sun. |
