    • Materials

      Dye PowderRubber gloves
      Soda ashPlastic bag
      White cotton clothSqueeze bottle
      WaterRubber band
      SpoonRectangular container

      Soak the cotton cloth into the (soda ash) water for several minutes.
      Select the centre of the cloth and twist the cloth, use the rubber bands to secure your spiral and divides to several parts.
      3Make colour
      Add the dye powder into the water and mix. Shake! Shake! Shake!
      Choose a piece for each colour.
      Put your tie-dyed cloth into a plastic bag and let it stand for eight hours.
      6Wash and dry
      Wash and rinse out as much dye out of your tie-dyed cloth with the cool water, and then air it in the sun.
